I’m Tyler Halstead, Owner at Outlaw Distillery. What started as a bold leap during the heart of the pandemic—acquiring a small Utah operation in 2020 and later expanding to Arizona with the 2025 acquisition of Adventurous Stills—has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. A huge part of that journey has been my incredible wife, Allexis, who’s been right there with me every step—supporting, inspiring, and keeping me grounded through it all. Couldn’t do this without her.

But no matter how much we’ve scaled, one thing remains non-negotiable: we’re rebels against ordinary. We make world-class spirits at prices real people can enjoy, and we do it the hard way—grain-to-glass, hands-on, every single step.

In a world full of big brands cutting corners and pumping out volume, we choose the Outlaw path: better quality and less of it. We meticulously distill to strip away impurities and volatile compounds, leaving you with cleaner, sweeter, smoother spirits that taste like they should—without the headaches or shortcuts. We source local grains from farmers we know, mill them ourselves, filter our water, ferment and distill in-house. It’s slower, it’s more expensive, and it’s worth it. Because life’s too short for mediocre drinks.

But this isn’t just about the liquid in the bottle—it’s about the people. Outlaw isn’t a faceless company; it’s a family. From our dedicated team who pour their hearts into every batch, to the farmers who grow our grains, to you—the adventurers, dreamers, and rebels who choose our spirits—we’re all in this together. We’ve built a community that values authenticity, supports local craft, and raises a glass to the underdog stories that make the Southwest special. Small batch just got a little bigger with two locations, but our commitment stays the same: premium, honest spirits made with real care, for people who appreciate the difference.
